Lumby has a vast array of public and private organizations, clubs and services available to it's citizens that cover a broad range of activites and interests.

As a central gathering place Lumby has many ammenities available. Lumby provides many fitness and recreational opportunities for diverse range of groups; we proudly offer an ice arena, curling rink, tennis courts, outdoor swimming pool, ball and soccer fields, outdoor volleyball courts and an excellent skateboard park.

The community has an excellent museum operated by the Lumby and District Historical Society that offers a glimpse into the rich history of the area, showcasing Lumby's early days.

Village of Lumby library services are provided through the Okanagan Regional Library. The library is located at 2230 Shields Avenue. The hours of operation of the library may be obtained by contacting www.orl.bc.ca.

A privately run arts organization, the Monashee Arts Council, promotes local artists and programs.
